1. **Seed Preparation:**
   - Scent leaf seeds can be sown directly without pre-soaking.

2. **Sowing Seeds:**
   - Use seed-starting trays or small pots filled with well-draining soil.
   - Plant seeds about 1/4 inch deep. If sowing directly in the garden, space seeds 6-8 inches apart.

3. **Watering:**
   - Water gently after planting, ensuring the soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged.

4. **Location:**
   - Place trays or pots in a warm, sunny location with plenty of sunlight.

5. **Germination:**
   - Scent leaf seeds typically germinate within 1-2 weeks. Keep the soil moist during this period.

6. **Thinning Seedlings:**
   - Thin seedlings to one strong plant per cell or pot by snipping weaker ones at the soil level. This promotes healthy growth for the remaining seedling.

7. **Transplanting:**
   - Space transplanted scent leaf plants 12-18 inches apart in a sunny location with well-drained soil. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist.

8. **Maintenance:**
